Portage Community serves students pursuing a career as an RN at the Community College of Beaver County. We provide scholarships, mentorship, professional development, and academic support. All students qualify for our program regardless of financial need. Each cohort spans one academic year and participants can apply again the following year, if they choose.

 

Once accepted into our program, students are matched with a mentor, who will provide educational and career guidance during the year. In addition, experts in the nursing and medical fields lead professional development sessions and test preparation classes for upcoming exams.
